Here you can download patch-scripts, which I use to maintain my trees and which you might use to manage easily the tarball containing them in splitout form; to install them you must just expand the tarball into /usr/local/bin (or any folder you like; remember to update the $PATH var if needed):

post a message to the uml-devel/uml-user mailing list (you do not need to be subscribed on those ML to post a message on them, just, if appropriate, remark that you're not subscribed in your mail and ask to get CC'ed on answers).
That is entirely appropriate, even if you get the problems with my patches only!
